My Compare and Contrast Adssignment
Recently in class, my teacher had us do a compare and contrast assignment with a topic of our choice. I chose The Hobbit book vs. The Hobbit Trilogy. I put it off 'til the last second to be honest, but I got it done. I really hope I did well. I've been trying to keep up my grade.
My Media Issues Presentation
A few weeks ago, our teacher had us do a presentation regarding the various issues in the media. I chose to cover the one thing the media doesn't: itself.
Yeah... the media doesn't seem to cover itself that much. I think I did OK on the assignment. I want to keep my grades up to avoid academic suspension.

Media Review #3
Hey there everybody! Today I'm going to be reviewing something a bit different...
That's right, It's The Hobbit! A wonderful tale of hobbits, dwarves, goblins, wizards, dragons, and princesses! Wait, OK maybe not princesses :) But nevertheless, it's still a very good book.
We follow our hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, along with thirteen dwarves and the wizard Gandalf, on an epic journey to the Lonely Mountain, where the dragon Smaug guards (well, sleeps on) the gold of the dwarves. Will all go well? Will they get the gold, slay the dragon, and all come out to tell the tale? You'll have to find out! The Hobbit is a long read but well worth your time.

Media Review #2
Hello, world! I've been very busy but I'm back with a review for a great software.

This software is known as VLC Media Player. It is a standalone media player that can play ANY type of media file conceivable, such as MP3, OGG, WAV, AIFF, MP4, MPEG, VOB, WMV, and many, many more.
VLC can also display JPEG'S and some picture files. It has a number of filters, adjustments, and options that make it useful for optimizing videos without completely re-encoding them. Speaking of encoding, it can do that, too. It can convert videos between almost as many formats as it can play. So for those of you who love your media, VLC is a must have.

Media Review #1
Today I'm going to be reviewing a software pretty much everybody has or at least knows about.
That's right! Ii's iTunes! iTunes is a music store and player wrapped into one. on the iPhone or iPod Touch, iTunes can be used to buy music, movies, videos, and more. On a computer, apps are added to this already massive selection of things. After you buy something on iTunes it stays there, even if your computer crashes or your iPhone breaks. iTunes keeps track of what you bought. Also, iTunes is a media player, so you don't need to buy or download a separate media player. iTunes is useful for keeping your media organized. It's a versatile software that everybody should have. That's all I have for this post, but check the site regularly for more. until next time, Happy Blogging!

My Weekly Media Usage
A few weeks ago my teacher in Intro to Electronic Media had the class make a journal showing how much electronic media we used per week. This chart illustrates my weekly amount of media usage.

As you can see, My phone and laptop got the heaviest use. I was genuinely surprised at how much media i consume every week.
